Roulette is, hands down, one of the biggest if not the biggest casino game of all time. Spinning the roulette wheel is a special thrill no matter if you are playing in a land-based or online casino. Live roulette games are even better when compared to standard RNG versions of roulette.
To play live roulette, you will need to find a good live casino first. With that in mind it is worth noting that all of our featured casino sites have been granted a full gambling license, and as such their live game platforms operate to the same high standards as all land based casino venues do.
As soon as you register at a live casino, you will need to deposit money into your account before you get to play live dealer games. Next simply select the Roulette game from the menu and that game will then launch onto your computer screen.
Once the live Roulette game window has launched you will then be able to see via a live video link up the Roulette table along with the croupier. If there is currently a game in play you will have to wait until that game has finished and for the dealer to then announce “place your bets”.
Next, select a chip value suitable to your bankroll and wait for the croupier to announce “No more bets” for the game to start.
The action starts immediately afterward, with the croupier launching the ball on the wheel. It will spin in one direction while the ball rolls in the other. The camera will then pan onto the wheel and you will be able to watch as the ball eventually stops spinning and then falls into one of the number wells.
If the ball lands on the number you have picked, congrats! You will be paid out automatically. The winnings will be instantly available in your casino balance. The croupier will then announce “place your bets” and the next game will get underway.
Benefits of Playing Live Roulette
Why pick live roulette over RNG roulette games? There are many benefits why you should go for live roulette games – we have listed the biggest ones below.
Game Variants – The most commonly found live Roulette game variant at most live casino sites is the European Roulette variant. As such you will be playing a game offering a 2.70% house edge which is considerably lower than the 5.26% house edge the American variant has on offer which is found in the gaming suite of many standard online casinos.
Player Interaction – When you play live roulette (or any other live dealer game), you are able to talk to the dealer via the chat box. Whilst you are not obliged to use the chat room it does give a much more social environment when compared to software driven Roulette games where you will be playing a single player version of Roulette with no one else to interact with!
Table Stake Limits – One of the things we love about live roulette is that the stake limits are pretty varied. This means that the games are suitable for any bankroll. That will ensure that you are going to be able to select a table offering you a range of low and high table stake limits that fits in with your playing style and playing budget.
Comps and Bonuses – Many live casinos will award comp points when you play live roulette. At some gaming sites you may even earn cool live casino bonuses for new and experienced players.
FAQ about Live Casino Roulette
Casino roulette is one of the most loved games by online casino players for its simplicity and quick turnaround. In a live dealer roulette, a real table and the wheel are used. A human croupier monitors the game. He spins the wheel, drops the ball, and declares the results. You communicate with the dealer in real-time from the game studio via the webcam of your devices.
Most of the live casinos offer different variants of the game. The common ones are American roulette, European Roulette, French roulette, double ball roulette, Double wheel roulette, etc.
Like other games in any license and regulated live dealers, some of which are listed here, live casino roulette games are monitored continuously by auditing companies and other external agencies to ensure the fairness of the results.
Many online casinos offering live dealer roulette are optimizing their games to give the players close to the immersive casino feelings they get from playing on PC. It is undeniable that you get the best experience of playing casino games on a larger screen. Some live casinos attach a camera to the wheel, or close, to make the experience more immersive.
No strategy is guaranteed to give you a big hit or winning run on the roulette wheel. The best approach is to know the time to escape with your winnings or stop your losses.

There are few games that carry such a charm like the live dealer roulette. If you have ever played this game in a traditional casino, you know how it feels when you get thrill of the roulette wheel rotation, sound of the ball falling to the slot, music, cheering by the crowd…
I started to play it just recently and first I played it online with my friends and family. It was like an additional form of entertainment and a good time. Now, I transferred to the live dealer roulette and still playing with small amounts of money.
Personally, I just want to get some fun, but hey – if I fill my pockets and beat the dealer – it won’t make any harm, right? 🙂

That’s a great idea, to play against a live dealer online, but how much does it cost and what are system requirements? I think my phone can’t run any of those games and I play casino only while waiting for a bus – so, there’s no lap top or PC to carry around. As I said, it looks good, but I’ll pass and rather stick to some kind of mobile apps.
